The Ceremony Site
The Ceremony site offers a grand pergola with a center aisle and space for chairs on either side. The pergola is large and would hold an incredible amount of flowers and greenery to create a dreamy lush backdrop for your ceremony. The aisle itself is a short walk from the main building. Since it is a shorter walk, I would encourage my couples to slow their walk and take their time down the aisle so that they can take it all in and allow their photographer ample time to capture walking down the aisle shots. White ceremony chairs are included in your rental.

The Reception Space
The reception space at Woodlands at Algonkian is a blank canvas, but not without warm and homey touches. From stone pillars, enchanting flooring, high ceilings, and a stone fireplace, your guests will be able to relax and enjoy celebrating your marriage. The far end of the reception room features custom floor to ceiling windows that overlook the golf course. This provides the perfect backdrop for your sweetheart table, and in view will be lush trees. The string lights provide a magical touch as well. One bonus is that the tables and gold chiavari chairs are included in your booking. The staff will take care of setting them up and breaking them down for you. Any couple who books here is sure to enjoy celebrating with dinner, drinks, and of course a night full of dancing at Woodlands at Algonkian.
Multipurpose Room
The room highlighted below is perfect for a wedding party mingling space in the morning. There is ample natural light, outlets for charging cell phones, and a built in buffet that can hold snacks and drinks. This room is also traditionally where catering will set up for guests to come through for a buffet-style dinner. Getting Ready Suite / Multipurpose Room
Use this getting ready suite for all of your hair and makeup needs, or simply as a resting space throughout the wedding day. As you’ll see in the photos below, there is ample indoor lighting, mirrors, and hooks to hang your wedding attire. Separate chairs, mirrors, and outlets are great for your glam team to set up and to get multiple people ready at once.

The Woodlands at Algonkian Golf Course features scenic fairways, bordered by the serene Potomac River and dotted with trees. Its rolling hills and well-maintained landscapes offer beautiful views, creating a peaceful atmosphere for wedding goers. With two golf carts at your disposal, you can effortlessly explore nearby locations for photoshoots, including a short ride to the picturesque Potomac River at Algonkian Regional Park. On a hot and sunny day, there are enough trees around that will provide diffused lighting and shade.
