It was cold enough to make everyone keep their coats close by, but that didn’t stop them from wandering the historic streets, laughing together, and soaking in every moment.

Rebekah and Jacob's elopement in Harpers Ferry was the perfect mountain adventure. Surrounded by breathtaking views, they exchanged vows in one of the most scenic spots in the region before exploring the overlooks together. 1. Say Hello
Couples often communicate with me 100% via email, or I am available to chat with you via phone, video, or a combination if you'd like to discuss any details in depth prior to booking. No matter the communication method, we will discuss your coverage needs and desires in great detail. If I have your date available and am a good fit for your needs, I will email you an official booking proposal so you can book asap and cross "find an epic photographer" off your to-do list.
2. confirm details
From your official booking proposal, you can make any final adjustments to your selections and make things official by signing the contract and paying the retainer. You can add additional services like a second photographer, engagement session, additional coverage hours, etc. at a discounted rate when elected at your initial booking.
3. sign contract and pay retainer
Once you are officially on my calendar - yay! We will connect to discuss details as well as share any vendor recommendations and set up planning meetings as needed. In most cases, I will reach out periodically to check-in with details and reminders. About a month out from your wedding date, you will receive a questionnaire to complete with your final details and that will help me create your final timeline. We will chat once more to go over the final timeline together about a week out from your wedding date.
4. planning
You can expect to receive your final gallery within 6 weeks from your wedding date. You can opt to have your gallery expedited for a fee if the need arrises. From your final gallery, you will be able to download, share, and purchase prints and products. If you opted for a custom heirloom album, refer to your contract for details on the process and design timeline.

I care about the details, but even more so, I care about how those details make you feel. The places you love, the people who show up for you, the quiet moments between the big ones—these are the things that become your story. My role is to help create space for those moments to unfold naturally, so you can be present for your day instead of worrying about how it’s supposed to look. Years from now, I want your photographs to do more than show you what happened. I want them to bring you back to exactly how it felt to be there.
The Investment Details
Alex did an incredible job photographing our wedding!! My husband originally found Alex to photograph his proposal and we loved the photos so much we had to go with her for the big day! We are so glad that we did! She was so wonderful and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process and was very reassuring and super open to our style and what we were looking to get out of our pictures. On the wedding day she was incredible and worked so hard to make sure we had every inspiration photo that we had mentioned to her. From first look, family portraits, sunset photos, and dance floor photos - she made sure every part of the day was captured perfectly! When we got the photos back (very quickly!) they completely exceeded expectations and Alex even sent us physical printouts of some of her favorite photos as well as an adorable Polaroid photo book! Alex is amazing to work with and the end result is just as amazing as she is!! Thank you Alex!!!

ALEX! What an amazing, talented, kind, and graceful photographer. I hate having my picture taken and was dreading a day of pictures, but Alex made it such a fun experience.
