On a fair weather day, your guests will enjoy the views seated amongst the vines as you walk down the picturesque aisle and say “I do.” The outdoor ceremony site is perfectly situated beneath a large tree. White ceremony chairs can be set up for a in traditional rows, or you can try out more of a unique circle or semi-circular set up.
There are two other ceremony locations to choose from depending on the weather or season: the upper deck and gazebo overlooking the vineyards or the first floor covered porch.
Directly from the venue on the best time of year to get married: “In my opinion, Fall season is the best time to get married at Cana! The trees are many spectacular colors, and the vines are fully grown and lush before the Harvest. The temperatures start to cool off that time of year. Clients love to have a fire going in the wood-burning fireplace inside the Sunset Pavilion or to host a smore’s bar at a nearby firepit on the lawn.”
The main house has a private getting ready suite with adjacent rooms. These rooms provide ample space for storage, a dropping zone for getting ready bags, or simply a place to sit in air-conditioning and recharge your phone or social battery. The suite also includes a private bathroom. If you need more time for hair and makeup services, you can request early access to the suite based on your unique timeline. Additionally, there’s plenty of space for a hair and makeup team to set up, but you can still choose to get ready off-site.

With mountains, trees, vineyards, and a winery, Cana Vineyards offers everything you could ask for. To ensure an excellent experience, they require caterers from their list, providing various full-service options. This venue is perfect for couples seeking relaxation and enjoyment with their loved ones. With its scenic views and nestled hillside location, elaborate decorations are unnecessary; instead, the Sunset Pavilion’s bistro lights and wood beams create a charming ambiance. At Cana Vineyards, nature envelops you entirely. During my visit in May, I was greeted by the chirping of birds the moment I stepped out of my car. I highly recommend a visit yourself so you too can experience the ambiance. In the meantime, check out this 360 degree walkthrough of Cana Vineyards provided by Visit Loudoun here.
