Cold Saturday Farm and surrounding property is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend scheduling a tour with the property manager to get an accurate idea of how it really looks and feels. The Ceremony Site(s)
One option is to have your ceremony here on the lawn with the main historic manor house as your backdrop. The venue currently offers a choice of (250) white or (100) wooden chairs for your ceremony set up. You could opt to add a floral arch. Getting married here in the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall months will ensure the grounds to be lush and meet the criteria for being a garden wedding. The venue offers many indoor or covered rain plan options in the event that rain is in the forecast. The main house is still a full time private home, so aside from being your gorgeous backdrop for your ceremony, the main house itself is not part of your wedding experience. Don’t worry – Cold Saturday Farm has additional buildings and spaces that are renovated and fully available for use in your wedding package.
White Tent Reception Space, and more!
The main reception space for large weddings is the 40′ x 100′ white tent adjacent to the ceremony space. If you have smaller weddings, there are other options available to host your reception. The white tent is perfect for mingling with guests while you and your spouse frolic nearby. Picture an iconic sunset or blue hour photo of you both on the grass below. You can also add yard games next to the tent for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour or the reception. If you want to, you could rent sides for the white tent to close it in. Imagine twinkling lights, hanging greenery and florals throughout the tent.

Cold Saturday Farm is one of the original land grants from the King of England. The Manor House was built in 1765, and our property stretches across 55 acres. On the property, you’ll see ponds, streams, barns, suites, gardens, bridges, and more. The venue also just added gorgeous farmhouse tables and a 40′ x 100′ tent! The venue is always growing and soon hope to convert one of the barns into a distillery and tasting room. There is onsite parking for your guests.
Additional Spaces (other than the manor and white tent)
The barn and deck (above) could be left vacant or used as a cocktail hour space or after party space. Note the glass mason jars along the walls — these are perfect for battery powered flameless tea light candles. This space would also make an epic spot for a romantic place to have your first look, read private vows, share a last dance, or simply a hang out space.
The white barn and patio (below) is the perfect all-in-one space for smaller weddings featuring a large indoor ceremony space and spacious patio with bistro lights.
Family, Bridal Party, and Couples Portraits
Many couples opt to have their formal family and bridal party portraits at their ceremony spot. For some, this means having the beautiful manor in the backdrop. Others may opt for a shaded tree or open field. The property itself has hidden pockets of beauty for a variety of couples portraits. Your photographer will likely utilize the golf cart for taking you around to a variety of spots on the property. Explore, kick off your heels, and enjoy time with your new spouse, taking portraits in the garden, by the pond, or in a nearby field.
Getting Ready Suite(s)
The main getting ready suite (pictured below) is a historic home with a private bathroom, refrigerator, and plenty of seating for those who are getting hair and makeup done in the morning. The view from the getting ready suit windows overlooks the green space and pond and grass covered bridge. There is a second getting ready space available for any of the other members of the wedding party as well.
